[paraphrased from his entry about it] "this is one of those little neighborhood amusement parks that are exceedingly rare in this part of the country. there's a tiny roller coaster, ferris wheel, an 86 year-old carousel and some other similar rides. it was a spooky place. it looked as though nothing had changed in the last twenty years. the paint was ancient and peeling, the rides were creaky and rusted, and the little coin-op games were all museum pieces."
