Cloth Mother

Brighton Sky

Last summer, I spent a day by the seaside in Brighton, Sussex, UK. It's a popular seaside resort and was once famed for its two piers, providing entertainment, candy floss and perambulation opportunities for young and old. A few years ago, one of the piers was devastated by fire, and has been dropping into the sea ever since. Somehow, it adds to the charm.
I've taken a few more pics that day; one is positively gratuitous. They do go with the mood and feel of the day, which inspired me to take the picture of the pier you see here, but none of them qualify as urban decay. So if you want to see them, please have a look at my journal.
