Hi i'm new to this community.

I am doing Rural Ruin & Urban Decay for my photography coursework but I am stuck on where to find my inpsiration for my own work. I've looked around the city and researched numurous photographers but it seems like that isn't enough to inspire me.

Got a new day job recently - up on Finch Avenue in North York (Toronto, Canada). I detail cars and outside the door of my work bay I can see things that frighten me.

Spent a lot of time in Edge City but little prepared me for how ugly Finch can be. Nothing but car joints, strip joints, high tension lines, diesel fuel depots, cheap office buildings. Sprawl hell and then some.

Not the tourist's Canada at all kids.
