(no subject)

I've been meaning to take pictures of this for quite some time now. This is in Leesburg, Virginia and is actually located in Red Rock Park. The park it's self is tucked in a completely out of the way location, so that a lot of people living here dont even know of it's existance. Anyway, this is the ruins of a grainary, stable house, and ice house dating to the 1800s. My family tells me it was also used as a jail during the Civil War, but I couldnt find any information to confirm or deny this.
We lovingly refer to it as "the historical spec". lol.

my garage.

Hi there,

I'm new to this community and I've enjoyed all the places that you guys have shared. I didn't have to go far to find this old hag...

This garage lived in my yard since 1943. The previous homeowners never repaired any part of the structure. They left us with this teetering pile of rotted wood and carpenter ants. I took these pictures days before we tore it down and built a new one.
