This railway line used to link Malaysia to Singapore's western industrial regions. I can't remember when it was last used. I lived around that area in the mid-80s and the tracks were already disused then. There were some little plots of land within the surrounding vegetation that some people used to set up some miniature farms. As a very small and highly industrialised country with little rural areas to speak of, such sights are very rare indeed. Many locals who live around the area aren't even aware of such "hidden treasures"! These were taken about 2 years ago, and when I checked back again recently, many of these farms are now gone.
