Clisson castle (France)

Built between 13th and 15th century, abandoned in the 17th century, bunrt by a republican troop in 1793, used as a quarry to rebuild the city after the Revolution, bought and restored by a fashionable sculptor during the reign of Napoleon... the castle of Clisson still stands on the bank of the Sèvre, beautiful ruin in the center of a little town close to Nantes.
